Suzanne Stricker

I am a nationally certified Acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner based in Boulder, Colorado. I have been licensed and practicing in the State of Colorado since 2008.
I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. Upon completing high school, I traveled to Olympia, Washington to attend Evergreen State College. I studied environmental science and completed my Bachelors of Science degree in 2002.
Feeling the need to serve the community more directly, I shifted my focus to medicine. I studied nursing at South Puget Sound Community College and received my nursing assistant certification in 2004. I worked at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
Around this time, my father began to visit an acupuncturist. Seeing his success with Chinese medicine, I decided that this was something I wanted to learn more about. In 2005, I moved to Boulder, Colorado and began my studies at Southwest Acupuncture College.
While at S.W.A.C., I became passionate about acupuncture for women's health. I started Find Your Balance Acupuncture in 2008, specializing in OB-GYN. I have seen excellent results in the treatment of pain, digestion, stress, anxiety and auto-immune issues.
I bring an expansive knowledge of supplements to my practice that I have gained while working at a local supplement store, Pharmaca. This work enhances what I can offer my patients. I enjoy working alongside other professionals and gaining new perspectives on health concerns.
In my spare time, you will see me hiking with my husband and my dog, going to yoga class, and playing board games with friends.
